Upcoming Podcast – Defending the Parable of the Fig Tree

Coming soon, Ryan Habbena and Nick Coldagelli will be broadcasting a 12 part podcast called Defending the Parable of the Fig Tree. Since its publication last September the book has produced much feedback, both positive and negative. In this series, many of the primary objections to the end-times theology the book presents will be confronted and engaged.

The podcast will be primarily designed to be an exercise in hermeneutics, not merely addressing that the critiques miss the mark, but also demonstrate both how and why. This podcast will deal with both direct and indirect critiques from a variety of sources. Ultimately, the goal of the podcast will be the same as the book – magnify the Lord’s command, and exhort believers to observe it:

“Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.” Matthew 24:32-33
